How to Build a Second Brain in Notion (Without the Overwhelm)
Stop collecting random notes. Here's a practical framework to turn Notion into a system that actually works.
Most people start using Notion with good intentions. They create a few pages, maybe a database. Then it gets messy. Links break. Nothing is findable.
A second brain doesn't need to be complex. Start with four core folders: Inbox, Projects, Areas, and Archive. Every piece of information goes into one of these. That's it.
For example, when I read an article, I dump key ideas into Inbox. Once a week, I process Inbox: move actionable items to Projects, reference material to Areas, and everything else to Archive.
This simple structure eliminates the decision fatigue of "where does this go?". You can build it in 15 minutes. Over time, you'll naturally add tags, links, and databases as needed.
