How to Build a Personal CRM in Notion (No Coding)
A step-by-step guide to creating a simple CRM to track contacts, interactions, and follow-ups.
Most freelancers I know lose track of potential clients. You meet someone at a networking event, exchange emails, and then… nothing. A personal CRM in Notion can fix that.
Start with a database called 'Contacts'. Add fields for Name, Company, Last Contacted, and Notes. Then create a second database called 'Interactions' linked to Contacts. Every time you email or meet someone, log it there.
Use a linked view to see all interactions for a specific contact. Add a formula to calculate days since last contact. Sort by that field to see who needs a follow-up.
I built this system in about 20 minutes. It's saved me from forgetting countless leads. Try it and adapt it to your workflow.
